ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for registration as a candidate for the Examinations leading to the BIT Degree, applicants must meet the following criteria:

(A) Educational Qualifications:

1. GCE Advanced Level Examination:
   • Obtain three passes in the GCE Advanced Level examination in one sitting after the year 2000, OR
   • Obtain four passes in the GCE Advanced Level examination in one sitting before the year 2000

   OR

2. Equivalent Qualification:
   • Obtain any other educational qualification deemed equivalent to the GCE Advanced Level qualification by the Senate, based on the recommendation of the Academic Syndicate of the UCSC.
   • Pass a Selection Test (FIT – Foundation in Information Technology) conducted by the UCSC

   OR

3. Foundation in Information Technology (FIT) Programme:
   • Pass all the theoretical components of the Foundation in Information Technology (FIT) Programme conducted by the UCSC

(B) Ordinary Level Qualifications:
